Can we place 75 mm Cold recycled Asphalt on Stiff well compacted soil (made of Class 3 backfill), without placing of the standard Roadbase layer?
If roadbase layer is a Must, what would be minimum thickness in such case?

I meant that I want to protect internal side of the pipe by applying grease/oil so I wanted to get a knowledge if there are any oil/grease that may ha e harmful effect rather than protection.
The structure will be air tight from inside, but thought coat of oil will also...

Height from ground is 5 meter. Length 45.
Exposure to wind is limited.

Any reference in regards the need/or not to have the expansion joint? Especially In terms of thermal expansion/contraction.
In terms of deflection it is limited to 10 mm.

The electrodes packet as answered by the senior suprviser is finished in 1.5 to 2 hours from opening. The climate was mild with humidity of 50 or 60%. There was no rain.
Will conduct the tests next week.

Tomorrow will conduct fracture test on a joint done under same conditions.
And will conduct as first step NDT for selected joints. If results not satisfactory. Will do for all.
