History tab defaults back to "previews" after a few login/logout

Hello everyone, I want the default to be list, as this is the least delay in load time. For some reason, it always reverts back to preview, which drasically slows the load time (upon opening the NX for the first time of the day). Is there a way to always have list be the default? Thanks!

    Save Failed (NX8/Teamcenter 9.3)

Does anyone know the cause or solution to this failure? The odd thing is that I can't save it, but the guy right next to me can... After he saves it, I can save it again!

Component position in exploded view after replacement

Cowski, the only problem with this method is that I don't have the capability to keep the history of the part being replaced. I have effectivity dates that are controlled in TC and there is no way, to my knowledge, to close one part and add another by effectivity dates in NX. Thanks guys and...

Component position in exploded view after replacement

Thanks for the reply...gotcha on that...I have no problem finding the position that the new component should be in the explosion, but I am trying to avoid any rework on the explosion completely. There must be a way, but I have not found it.

Component position in exploded view after replacement

Using NX8/Teamcenter 9... When I replace a component(s) in the structure manager and open in NX, the new component comes in at the correct assembled position, but the exploded view does not update the component to the position the old component was at in the explosion. I have looked at all...

Anyone have insight on why CHANGING a UOM in Teamcenter 8.3 seems so difficult?

Hey Everyone, Anyone have insight on why changing a UOM in Teamcenter 8.3 seems so difficult? For example, I am dealing with a bottle of oil that was created with a UOM of FL OZ, but I need it to be EA because my BOM calls for QTY 1 bottle of oil. I need to change it, but from what I...

Anyone else have trouble opening certain assembly files in NX8, but they opened fine in NX7?

Thanks for the additonal info, Jurgen. I have the MP2, which did not fix the issue...dang! It is a PR now with GTAC and hopefully will be resolved soon. If anyone comes across a potential fix, please let me know. Thanks for all the help, everyone! Pete

Anyone else have trouble opening certain assembly files in NX8, but they opened fine in NX7?

Hello everyone, Just some upfront FYI...I am working with Teamcenter 8.3.3.4 and NX 8.0.3.4 About two months ago, I upped to NX 8 and since have been having much trouble opening certain asms and get the attached errors/warnings. Normally, the first step taken is launching the NX asm from TC...
