The problem is that the original points have other parts that are contextually linked to them. So they must be the same point. The code you provided was a great start though and much of the stuff is very very useful.
I was playing with your code, had lots of good things I might be able to tweak and use. It still creates new points, not move original point. Thank you again, I will study it to see how I can make it work with small change.

I'm kinda stuck.
I have been able to get a macro to create new points & move them + a determined amount. But not move an existing point.
The logic would be.
1) User Select a Geometric Set in a CatPart
2) Move 1st point in geometric set by value x
3) Move 2nd Point in geometric set by value x...
Ahh ok I understand. I have not seen an option to do that. Is there a specific reason why you have so many parts of your assembly in no/show that you must continually locate them? Is this a value added thing?
I normally have all my parts shown, but only have the documents loaded for the ones...
I am not quite sure what you mean. Try hovering your mouse over some geometry in your session. Press a Left, Up, Down, or Right arrow on the keyboard. Is this something similar to what you are asking about?
Ability to select things hidden behind your geometry?

Both Clicking on the Axis or Clicking a Line of part of the tree will switch between tree being active or geometry.
You can also Hold Shift + Press F3 on the keyboard to swap between Geometry/Tree active.
If you have the Multi-branchable Document acive:
1) Go to the menu bar, edit, links
2) You can also right click on the Multi-branchable and Click on Links
Once you have done this you are able to Activate/Deactivate the contextual links.
Yeah it would be moving points inside a geometric set of a .catpart.

I would keep them in no show. Create captures to show them depending on the set of FTA that you want to show common to one type of geometry in your model. It's my preference and a nice way to keep the model clean. Sometimes I'll show them, but I won't have the annotation follow the camera or...
I am not 100% for you, in case you have something in your control panel set up different or changed. The default should be button 1 & 2 are usually set unconfigured unless you apply them to some function.
The button "+" and "-" are for sensitivity in rotation, zooming, panning, etc.
