    Can I balloon a sub assy in a BOM instead of the sub's parts?

    Thanks. That's what I ended up doing. The problem is it isn't parametric so if I add another part that comes in higher on the BOM I have to remember to renumber it.

    Can I balloon a sub assy in a BOM instead of the sub's parts?

    I have a parts list with exploded list and Use level based item numbers checked. I would like to show the item number of the sub assembly not the indented parts of the sub assembly. Can you do that or is there a work around?
