    I agree BigInch. But why do all Norwegian FPSOs have bow mounted acc. whilst the British FPSO are a mixture of approx. 40% stern and 60% fwd mounted acc. ? Is there a norwegian regulation which enforces this? Thanks for your fast reply.

    One can note that all Norwegian built FPSOs have forward-mounted accommodation units, whilst UK built FPSOs have a mix of both forward and stern mounted accommodation units. Why is this so? Is there a specific reason for Norwegian fpsos to be built in this manner? (perhaps legislative reason)...
