I don't want to use the existing ecu because its the size of a brick and I have nowhere to hide it as this is a custom bike.
I never thought this was going to be easy! :)
Thanks for the replies, yeah I guess this might seem like an odd thing to be doing but it keeps me occupied.
I am still looking for a solution but also looking at the DynaTek offering, thanks for the link.
Any more input here is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Daniel.
So I love carburetor engines, I know about carbs and I kind of like the traditional look of it. This is a project I am working on using a Triumph Daytona engine from 1997, it was designed as an injection engine but I am trying to run it from a carb.
I know this may sound a little crazy but...
I wonder if anyone can advise me on a project I am working on. To cut a long story short I have an engine that I am converting from injection to carburetor.
My question is how do I produce a timed spark without using the ecu? From the research I have done I should be able to use a separate...
Hi Updraft, thanks for your reply, When I searched the internet I found that there were a lot of posts on forums regarding this very problem but no-one had a solution that worked. I am horrified to have this problem now myself.
I am using the original DVD and I use the 32 bit version the same...
Hi, thanks for your reply. My HDD failed so I lost everything that I didn't back up, so at least I have my data. This must be a common problem as a lot of people seem to have it. No-one seems to have a solution however.
Cheers Daniel.

Please help.
Daniel.

Any help is...
Thank you for both your replies. It is clear I need to know more about this program as I do not understand either answer. Can either of you maybe recommend a youtube video that will show me how to achieve that you suggest?
Many thanks for your interest all the same.
Thanks Daniel.
Hi, many thanks for your answer, That was exactly what I wanted. How I strayed upon it in the first place I do not know! But thank you I am a little wiser now.
Thanks Daniel.
When I first started using solidworks, say I was sketching a rectangle, I would have the x and y coordinates so that I could just type in a number and it would jump to that dimension, I seem to have lost that feature and I can't find a way to get it back.
Thanks Daniel.
