I am checking the trackbed concrete behavious on the circular tunnel when the tunnel subjected to bending.
Track bed not monolithically connected to tunnel,Hence when the tunnel deflect there will be gap between this two elements.See attachment for clearer understanding.

But do I need to assign any links or friction values between the tunnel solid and soil soilid joints?

I am checking the tunnel stress and internal element stress due to settlement. Can we model the soil and tunnel in sap2000?
