    Thanks for the replies. Itried everything, but it turns out the internal Z-sensor wire was bad (no alarm message came up). I didn't have a replacement so I just attached an external wire and went on with business as usual. The new wire came in today. Thanks for the ideas.

    What could cause a sudden trace failure with no change to the cut conditions and an HS calibration failure, as well? I've removed the ECO head, checked the Z-sensor wire, cleaned the head and cone and I'm completely stumped. Any help will be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance. And no...
