Has anyone ever come across a solution to Galvanic corrosion before? It occurs a lot on oil platforms because of contact with seawater. I read this article about a solution to galvanic corrosion in valves and pipelines could be to replace graphite with a material called HNBR?? Apparently...
Does anybody have any first hand experience using different Valve coatings for severe application? Hobbs Valve use TiN as standard in their Triple Offset Valves.
