Well there is an option of inertia relief while defining the solution under the parameters tab in NX Nastran. If you'll work with this parameter the solution will work fine. I hope it helps.

Recently I was performing the dynamic analysis on the pulley, meshing was done using tetra10 element. While applying the boundary conditions, I was unable to apply the centrifugal load, no element was getting highlighted to apply load to.

There is a assembly containing part: damper and spring. The whole system will be in inertia relief, but the spring has to be constrained between the damper. now the top part of the whole assembly shall be fixed and a cyclic load at the bottom point...
