    RISA3D Help

Does anyone know how to make the background black, instead on white, on RISA? Easier on the eyes if I could do it...

Looking for a source on pea gravel

As title say, I'm looking for a source on pea gravel and whether or not I can obtain a compression strength in concrete of 3000 psi using pea gravel without any side effects. Or if I can't, some type of chart/graph showing me what my maximum compression value is in relation to the days of age...

    European Tire Sizes

Anyone here know what the label of an 18.00 X 25 - 40PR tire translates to english units as? I'm trying to find the width of the tire when looking at the tire head on (when you can't see the rim).

    Concrete Retaining Wall

I'm designing a concrete retaining wall that separate two loading areas of different elevations. Large extractor machines are going to be my worst case of travel on this. There's concrete and crushed limestone on both side of the retaining wall at different elevations, one side is 4' lower than...

I can't figure out how to upload it with imageshack. I thought I was copying and pasting the correct link but I guess not.

Rotating a pinned support 90 degrees

I'm trying to figure out how to correctly model the boundary conditions of the 4 channel beams that are in between the 2 W Beams. It's going to be bolted to a concrete pedestal through the web of the channel and that's it.http://imageshack.us/a/img600/9126/dzw.png

Rotating a pinned support 90 degrees

The project I'm working on is removing an exchanger unit and to do so two channels are bolting to either side of a square concrete pedestal (flanges out) and I'm trying to figure out how to model that connection correctly.

Rotating a pinned support 90 degrees

@UcfSE I'm looking to restrain the z direction in my model and y direction is vertical. I'm still kind of confused what reaction means for the boundary condiditon.

Rotating a pinned support 90 degrees

I didn't realize I could edit the restraints. I thought once I hit the support button and hit pin that that was the conditions. I'm very new to RISA as this is my first month on the job as a new EI. But now I see which directions I can restrain and leave free with the pull down menus. Thank guys.

Rotating a pinned support 90 degrees

As opposed to a normal pin connection at the base of a column, I'm looking to use one on a channel beam to depict the pedestal that the channel will be bolting to. I'm looking to figure out how to make the support horizontal as opposed to vertical. Thanks in advance
