Could anyone tell me what would be the highest voltage that an open delta transformer's "wild leg" could reach? I have measured upwards of 350V to ground on a 230V system. Could this potentially be higher on other systems?
I have a 15KVA, 3phase auto transformer that is of the open delta configuration. How do I go about closing the delta. Would adding a third transformer to the two work and what ratings would the added transformer need?

This device was intended for a balanced 3phase 230VAC system. My question is why would the first MOV configuration(line to line protection only work and the MOV configuration with the added ground to line protection fail?
I recently updated a surge protection circuit to include line to ground protection. Would equipment that is connected to a center tapped delta configuration cause this type of surge suppression to be stressed? The reason being is that now, the MOVs are failing where as before, when only...
