I am modeling something that has complex geometry, and I need to measure the angle between two frame elements in same plane,
and then rotate the first one, so that will align with the second one.
Can you please help me how to do that in SAP2000?

2. Or, how to align global axes with chosen origin and local axes directions of a frame element, and then define grid according to those axes?
Which type of analysis is used in SAP2000 for monotonic cyclic loading step by step. The input is deformation at given time, and the output should be hysteresis deformation-force for the loaded structural element.
I tried with time history, but the analysis should not be dynamic, but nonlinear...
