Does ASME VIII require using ASME bolts on a bolted vessel
I have a 2 piece casted aluminum vessel that is bolted together at a center flange. This vessel has been given a u-stamp for years with no mention of the bolts. Inspectors at 2 different plant locations gave u stamp with no questions of bolts. Recently a new inspector is requiring specific...- ksee623
