We are currently running the latest deployment of NX 9.
After playing around more, and resetting my dialog boxes, it seems to have become more consistent, but not perfect. Is there any sort of disparity in how OK vs APPLY affects this when completing a command?
I think the snap thing bothers...
I could use some guidance in understanding how NX handles "default settings" from command to command.
Let's start with snap settings: often times I start a command, choose the snap I want, complete the command, and when I run it a second time I have to reselect the snaps I want again. What...
After getting a response from GTAC it looks like cowski was was on the right path, with one minor caveat...
It turns out that the drawing was selecting itself during the base view import, which naturally resulted in no flat pattern. However, in my case, the 'Select Part' window to choose the...

Yes, I have done this and it does help. What I dislike about it though is that I still have to traverse to the ribbon tab to get to those functions. Meaning more clicks than before, unfortunately. But its something I can deal with...
As one of our CAD admins, one question though: is it possible...
Oh, and one other thing that I find EXTREMELY annoying about the new interface:

Now that I have used the Ribbon interface in NX 9 for a month or so, I mostly prefer it. However I find that the current implementation is very feature light, and doesn't include numerous (basic?) functions that I use regularly. If the intent is encourage users to move towards this then they...
We are currently upgrading to NX9 and are recreating our Title Blocks with the new functionality (vs the old pattern style). During this process we also wanted to link model defined attributes with the data in the title block. So, for instance, we would have a 'description' field in our model...
