Thanks folks. It came out of a aftermarket gas line adapter kit from Korea.
EdStainless got it right I think. Smart.
I should have given more details.
It screwed into a big steel body (cylindrical) only used as a T.
I bet the body was a regulator part used for a different purpose.
It's tapered...
Anyone know What this fitting is called? Just the male end.
It's on a CO2 tank line. 1500 PSI maybe.
Big end is CGA320 for Gas Tank.
Little (male) end has a flare on the end but threads into a 1/8 NPT fitting just right.
That would make it 27 TPI.
Used to seeing a flare like that on JIC...
Thanks for the input. That is a big help. Yes, the pad is something I wanted to add just to make sure we know what's underneath.
It is a surface mine. Construction site was a little misleading.
The open pits definitely employ geotechnical people for a number of reasons.
I'll see what I can...
Hello Civil Engineers. Pardon my ignorance. I am a mechanical engineer designing a steel structure for a construction site.
Basically it is a 30ft x 12ft platform with 8 legs (can be more legs). The fabrication plus the large tooling it carries weighs 30 tons (60,000 lbs).
The thing is intended...
I am new to tubing runs. I want to avoid flares & brazing.
Aeroquip has a ORS-TF system that uses a nut, ferrule and sleeve.
I have to use Aeroquip because of commercial issues.
3000 PSI system with -6 tubing.
They love the system in their literature.
Just looking for some feedback.
Thanks
