    Fire Suppression System Valve

I found these, but I have no idea how they work from the drawings. Cable Activated Valve Head: http://www.firebottleracing.com/shop/accessories/ah/ The 4CA is a 5 foot pull cable for the Pull Systems.: http://www.firebottleracing.com/shop/accessories/4ca/

    Fire Suppression System Valve

Do they make them that are manually actuated? I would like to stay away from electronic or pneumatic actuated valves.

    Fire Suppression System Valve

I am trying to identify this valve, which is used on systems such as the one described in this article: http://www.competitionplus.com/2005_08/fire_safety.html The valve looks like this and is actuated using a cable. This is very possibly something they make custom, but I am wondering if...

Does any company make a 1" threaded double-wafer check valve?

The pressure in the direction of the flow through the valve is limited... to 30" Hg. It is being created by an eductor flowing hundreds of gallons of water per minute. When the nozzle on the end of the eductor line is closed, there can be 150+ PSI in the opposite direction of the flow through...

Does any company make a 1" threaded double-wafer check valve?

I need a 1" or .75" double-door/double-disk check valve like this one: With or without the spring is fine; the problem is, I can't find it in 1". It seems they only make these for larger piping systems (2"-48") and in the wafer style or one of the ones where its bolted by the flange. It...

Pump Curve Viscosity Correction Help Needed

I would like to recreate (correct) the pump curve for our gel from the pump curve provided by Finn which shows the performance of water. For my purpose we can assume 1000 cSt and ignore the shear rate. I attempted to use the polynomial coefficients and the psuedocapacity from the linked document...

Pump Curve Viscosity Correction Help Needed

The fluid is a gel made from a polymer powder and water. 1000 cSt. I'm not sure what you are using the temperature for so it would be hard to say. The ambient temperature could be anywhere from 5-100 F.

Pump Curve Viscosity Correction Help Needed

Hello, I am trying to correct a Finn T-30 Hydroseeder and pump's pump curves for a non-water viscosity. I have used a graphics program to record discrete values for the pump curve and they are all organized into excel, but I am having trouble with the conversion factors. I cannot use this...
