    Modifying the classic Push Puppet?

The use of string/fishing line isn't practical because the goal of this apparatus is to go into mass production and production would be slowed with the threading of strings through holes, when compared to the speed of production that is desired. Anyway, the reason a typical spring-loaded lock...

    Modifying the classic Push Puppet?

I'm looking to apply this same type of mechanism within a different apparatus, but using string or fishing line to re-create the mechanism isn't a viable option Is there a way to re-create this type of collapsing mechanism using plastic? The reason I want to duplicate the Push Puppet mechanism...

    Modifying the classic Push Puppet?

Saw this video about how to build a Push Puppet (Link) Is there a way to duplicate this mechanism using a stronger material other than string?

    Gas Powered Rotating Impellers?

@rotw Also, just realized I forgot an important piece, the objective here is to mix the liquid without the gas directly interacting with the liquid

    Gas Powered Rotating Impellers?

@rotw Thanks for your criticism, I genuinely appreciate it since I'm not well versed in the engineering world. As far as your axial device suggestion, are there devices currently utilizing this design that I could look up for reference? How would you recommend testing the axial device in an...

    Gas Powered Rotating Impellers?

@rotw, The bit about the liquid was what I want to accomplish with the motion of the impellers. Basically what I am wondering is if I can produce mechanical energy using gas from a vertical inlet to a horizontal outlet to power the motion of the impellers by pumping gas internally inside of the...

    Gas Powered Rotating Impellers?

Edit/Update: Impellers are needed to mix liquid at a low rate, no more than 50 RPM's. Basically enough to create an initial mixture and maintain it (if that makes sense) do not need the impellers to have the effect on the liquid of something like a high shear impeller.

    Gas Powered Rotating Impellers?

New to the forum, please don't crucify me if this is a silly question. I am interested to know if it is possible to pump gas downward into a vertical cylindrical tube and transmit that gas horizontally at about the midpoint of the vertical piece in order to power multiple 360 degree rotating...

Newbie needing advice for prototype testing

Want to test a concept and need some help I need to test whether or not I will be able to properly mix liquid substances within a cylindrical container that is about 6 feet in diameter x 6 feet tall. The one issue with mixing within this container is that there is a cylindrical piece that runs...
