Yeah it is actually just a visual setting and I found out how to get the areas filled instead of the wireframe. Go to PlotCtlrs then Style then Solid Model Facets... and change the Style area and volume plot from Wireframe to Normal Faceting.
Athough your solution was working too.
Thank you for...
Hi everyone,
Is it possible to fill the areas in Ansys Mechanical APDL instead of having just the wireframe when i plot the surfaces ? This would really help me.
Thank you.

Hi everyone,
In order to get a good model, I need to create hyperelastic material properties for one of my parts on Ansys Mechanical.
I have an uniaxial test data and I make an hyperelastic curve fitting with the polynomial fonction (2nd order).
When I solve this problem, it stops with this...
Thank you for your answer.
What I actually want is to apply the rotation of the body as a BC. I am really not familiar with Ansys Mechanical. I will try to look more into the d command and how to apply my rotation.
Thank you again.
Hi,
I did try those hyperelastic models but I was not happy with the result. However my supervisor told me that it is fine for what we wanted to do.
Thank you very much for your answers.
Hi Dave,
Thank you for your answer.
The nonlinear response is the response of a ligament to some traction with a "toe region" from 0 to 0.06 of deformation where the curve is quadratic and after 0.06 it is linear. Also I want a very small compression modulus. Actually I wish it would follow this...
Hi everyone,
I am working with Ansys Mechanical and I need to create a non linear material.
I want this material to have some orthotropic propoerties but I also want one direction to be non linear.
Actually what I would like to have is a material with non linear properties on one axis and...
