well turning on and off the air compressor is much costly as they are steam driven and lots of startup and shutdown work..so not a better choice
air flow require is varying from 50000NMC/hr to 55000NMC/hr and compressor discharge is almost60000NMC/hr

i got a project of reducing noise at air vent
air is required by process and it is provided by two air compressors the excess quantity is vented to atmosphere
the venting of air produces much noise almost 120db. so we have to reduce that noise.
what you suggest??
