CAD operators aren't allowed to use scissor lifts at the refinery I work at sometimes. I have a tape measure and use whatever ladder I see lying around. Guess I just need to think outside the box and be a little creative.
Can anyone point me in the right direction or have to time to give me some tips to help me dimension pipe. Sometimes pipes are too high and a ladder won't reach, so I try to measure from support to support but I'm not always accurate. On the ground some pipes are just hard to get to and I'm not...
