How is the quality of a bar material made according to ASTM A479 compared to NORSOK standard. I see that not all of the tests prescribed in NORSOK are found in the ASTM Requirement. Am I correct to understand that ASTM A479 can't be used alone to order raw material? the material i have in mind...
Okay, i see now that I am probably in the wrong thread:) I was referring generally to pressure piping. but you have managed to answer my doubts about the use of ASTM A479 alone to order raw material for my product.
