DW172 commercial kitchen ventilation canopy
I paste here the reply I had from a manufacturer: If we had a canopy against a back wall and it sits in a corner the hood would be a wall canopy open 1 end. If it simply sits in the middle of a long wall this would be open both ends, if the canopy has a wall at each end obviously it is closed...- SteVege1

DW172 commercial kitchen ventilation canopy
Hi All, I am having a look at DW172 for guidelines on commercial kitchen ventilation canopy, the table 3: Canopy factors mentions open both ends, open one end and closed both ends canopies. Can someone shed some light on what is the difference among these options? Thanks! SteVege1- SteVege1
