    Staircase, balustrades, handrails, connections

Hey guys do you know any software program which is good to make calculate the above sccording to eurocode ? Or do you know Any booke with design examples

Explain this calculation ( eurocode 5)

Yes but why is the uniform load been taking into consideration twice? 0,5*q_p*b_p+ 2/3*q_p*b_p I mean the compression from the unfor mload 0,5*q_p*b_p is logic but i really dont understand where the 2/3*q_p*b_p comes from. Is it the weight from the walls? because that is not given :S

    Eigenfrequency/dynamic load

Hmm i dont know if u use fem design. But my model is attached. Can you tell me what i can do in order to reduce the eigenfrequencies? https://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=c5e64758-9f79-4f54-ac34-fa8e466c3cb9&file=F_16_Kostald_v6_fremtidig_med_indskudt_dæk_udenvægge.str

    Eigenfrequency/dynamic load

Hey guys. I have a construction of steel structure ( beams columns etc) and a light construction. I have to find the exact eigenfrequency of my construction. The self weight is = 0,8 kN/m2 and a service load of 5 kN/m2 ( according to eurocode) However that gives me high value of eigenfrequency...

Bottom timber plate connection to concrete

Hey guys. I Have a M12 bolt that i use pr 500mm in bottom timber plate which is subjected to shear 5 kN. How can i show that she timberplate will not be destructed? Can anyone show me a calculation of that? I use a timber C25 45x95. Because i know what the bolt can take but not the timber.

    Buckling and lateral torsional bucklin

Hey guys i have a question. I have a portal frame like the one attached, where i have timber at 1070 at the rafter. My question is can those timber construction be regarded as bracing against lateral torsional buckling ( Moment) and buckling ( Normal force) pr 1070...

    Beam to column welding calculations

Hey guys. I want to reach the same calculations as robot structural analysis. However my calculation is not near the robot structural analysis calculations. What do i wrong? thanks in advance.http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=370d808b-b812-4f2f-a4a7-4fe4466e22d5&file=Welding.zip

Plan showing layout of piles and pilecaps

Hey guys. Do you have any suggestions/corrections regarding my plan? I use beam: width x height =300x1000 Pilecap: 2100x2100  Piles=300x300 Column=500x500 http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=4a9d000b-c7af-4d35-b3d2-4c1d4d0b92c6&file=SKitse_fundamentsplan.pdf

When to consider a beam supporting slab

Hey guys. I want to make a simiiar detailiing, however I'm confused about what do do in order to have this consideration right: My slab shall be supported by the beam so my slab calculation would be right. What to do with the reinforcemenet in order to have such a consideration...
