Hello everyone,
in the past, I had succeeded running a coupled eulerian lagrangian (CEL) method simulation using abaqus. Now I would like to run another CEL simulation, but something is going wrong and I could not find out what. The fluid, that is modelled as eulerian element, is flowing...
Hello Everyone,
I am having problem running abaqus simulation to simulate 5 filaments, that are being fixed at one side and free at the other side. Water is gonna flown across these filaments, as the initial position of the filaments is perpendicular to the water flow direction. So I expect that...
The modelled material has transversly isotropic elasticity and should be simulated with beam elements. I have already the elasticity tensor for the material ready.
Much appreciated for any feedbacks.
Best regards,

Hello Everyone,
I am trying to simulate a fiber filament (with a diameter 1,5E-5 m and 0.5 m long) under gravity. It supposed to be a really simple one and is thought to be a precondition for step 2 (which has "dynamic, temp-disp, explicit" step procedure). The purpose is the fiber that being...
Hey Everyone,
I am running an Abaqus simulation with a subroutine and it terminated itself because of "floating point error". I tried after that running the simulation without the subroutine by giving it a material property, that doesn't require any subroutine. (In my case, the subroutine is...
Hello Everyone,
I am trying to do some simulation with Abaqus using Coupled Eulerian Lagrangian (CEL) Method. This method is new for me, so please excuse me, if the answer to my problem is obvious :)
I am trying to simulate water being pressurized in a cylinder. I assume, the cylinder is a...
