I'm not sure how to send a pm on here Daniel, but here is a better blueprint. I don't need the fretboard, just the neck. In fact, all I really need is the back radius side of the neck and volute's matching my neck to head and heel sides. Something like below only just where the cutter needs to...
Thank you Daniel, I have the blueprints for it all but I'm sure I won't be able to nail the Volute radiuses, and intersect them.I can also do a silhouette boundary as shown below and build, but still can't do the transitions 2 rail sweeps or something, too tough for me.
It is all faceted surfaces, that I can't trim to the area I don't want to cut on the head and foot of the neck. I tried building blocks for the cutter to stay away from as shown below but still overlaps the heel and head.
I tried it all, ha ha. Solidworks, Meshcam Geomagic Freecad Catia Mastercam AutoCAD Hypermesh and Maya, I even tried some take 100 pics of it and it will be a solid software. Any help will be great. This is my Catia attempt with auto surface recognition.
Hi everyone, I tried it all, I had this neck digital scanned but I can't machine some of it because of the faceted surfaces over running other ones. Any help would be great.
I have tried Catia Solidworks AutoCAD Geomagic Hypermesh Meshlab Freecad Mastercam Spaceclaim Rhino and Maya and several software's that take 70 photos to make a solid. All failed me, maybe it's just me, ha ha. Any help would be great.
I took Jim's repaired model, put auto surface on it, added closed surface in Catia, but still have all the facets, see orange on the head. Any help would be great.
Hi Jim, here is an igs file, I also have it as solidworks formats, catia Autodesk, etc etc. Thank you for your time.

Hi everyone, I tried it all and failed, is it possible to make a solid or surface out of all of the triangle surfaces so I can machine it. All I really need is the radius side of the neck to the foot and head without violating those areas. Just the grey area, except where the surfaces over run...
Dave, this might work perfect, pushing it around, trying to get it normal to the original surface, otherwise, this is exactly what I need. Thank you for the help.
