    Dump temperature

Thank you graham!! We are using Chinese machine only. You said that dump temperature for NR,SBR,BR master batches is up to 170°C and for Neoprene and halo butyl is 135°C. On which basis you are telling this. I want to know the science or reason behind this. Thanks in advance.

    Dump temperature

Hello metten.yes, I have already tried this

    Dump temperature

Thank you metten. When I mix NR compound of 80 hardness in the open mill , the resulting ML is 13 to 15. But when I tried mixing in kneader , the resulting ML is 20 to 22. I have tried various mastication time in kneader (about 3 to 12 mins). And my tried various dump temperature 105°C to 130°C...

    Dump temperature

I have a bunch of doubts, it will be helpful if anyone can help me with this. 1.On which basis we are fixing the kneader's dump temperature for vairous rubbers in kneader mixing? 2.What are all the important parameters in setting the dump temperature? 3.Are there any different rheo attributes...

    Rubber Line mark problem

I agree that ML is not directly related to mooney.....and the line marks are opposite to the transfer side

    Rubber Line mark problem

It is not clear in the picture. And it is not because of the mold release agent. I think viscosity and cure rate are also the factors. I have given more time for mastication at @85°C but the viscosity is not going down. And is blending of NR/SBR a factor?

    Rubber Line mark problem

Line mark means, after the molding process some minor lines are appearing on the surface of the product(approx width=0.1 mm length=1 cm). These lines are spoiling the visual appearance of the product. I don't know whether line mark and flow mark are same or different. I think it is because of...
