Pressure ratio (P_out/P_in) in critical flow is dependent on valve opening?
Hi, I am developing a solver for multiphase flow valve. I have checked the Tulsa model (Sachdeva1986) and Al-Safran model (Al-Safran2009), and I found the pressure ratio (y = P_out/P_in) for critical flow does not contain the valve opening parameter in both equations. Is it physically...- keunsoop

Either subcritical or critical flow, my model includes phase change - mass fraction is from the pressure and temperature measurement in three positions of valve: 1) valve inlet, 2) valve outlet, 3) downstream of valve when flow reattach the wall.
