We are doing Sales Gas project, as per our project requirement we have to purchase X60 API 5L 46th Edition pipe but we have stock API 5L 43rd Edition with same specification. Is it technically advisable to us 43rd Edition instead of 46th edition.

Surezhg - Project Engineer
The stock is only 6" upto 600 class, I changed the Grade from LF6 to LF2 & A105N even though its not in stock.
This Flange will connect to Gate Valve, welding is not acceptable.
I have requirement for FLANGE: 6", CLASS 900, SCH 80, RJ, WN, CS, A350, Gr. A105N/LF2 CL1/LF2 CL2/LF6 CL 2 B16.5. I checked with all Client approved Stockist and Manufacturer but i didn't found the stock. we don't a have time to wait for Manufacturing.
What is a solution to solve this issue.
SJones, If we do corrosion coating to meet NACE requirement and contact Hardness test to justify it comply NACE MR0175 requirement, then client will accept.
We received piping Fittings (i.e. Flanges, elbow, tee, plug, o-lets etc) without NACE, but those fittings further to be utilize for source service line. Our client not agree to accept those fittings.
Is there any possibility to change the fitting to satisfy NACE requirements.
Kindly advise us...
