    UCS-85 question

    Is it acceptable for the MTR to show tensile testing done on normalized coupons, if the material (plate) itself is as-rolled (not normalized)? Or must the MTR show tensile testing done on as-rolled material? Test coupon was 516-70-N, plate provided is 516-70 Are there any exemptions allowing this?
