Total Heat Flux or Total current through a section??

Hello Mustaine3, Thank you for your response. The outputs i have are ECD (electric current density ) and the other one is ECDA (Electric current density multiplied by area). Am i supposed to sum the ECDA values for the nodes lying on the section?? The input current was 100A Summed total ECDA...

Total Heat Flux or Total current through a section??

I am solving a Electric Thermal coupled analysis. Here i want the total current passing through a conductor. In the output requests all i get is electric current density and ECDA which seem like nodal properties. Is there a way to get the total current(Heatflux) passing through a section ??

    orphan mesh

I will be using Hyperworks for most of my meshing works. I import the mesh into abaqus cae. Once I import the full model, all my meshed components fall into one part. Is there a way to split the components into separate parts??

    Rigid Body Rotation

While making rigid make sure you haven't checked the "adjust point to centre of mass at the start of the analysis".

at least one of the nodes of the connector element does not have any mass associated with it.

I have been getting this warning message in my model. And solution in not converging at all. Please guide me on how to resolve this. AT LEAST ONE OF THE NODES OF CONNECTOR ELEMENT 1 (ASSEMBLY) DOES NOT HAVE ANY MASS ASSOCIATED WITH IT. THIS COULD LEAD TO EQUATION...
