I was checking if socket cap screw bolts were allowed by ASME VIII for a Div.2 vessel design and couldn´t find the SA-574 material on Table 3.5. Later on I took a look on table UCS-23 of Div.1 and the SA-574 was there.
So, does it mean those high strength socket cap screws are allowed...
As far as I know using large strains change the way calculation is done in Abaqus, considering actual dimensions instead of initial dimentions.
