    Kickers around vertical columns and RC walls

    Hi, referring to the attached picture, are kickers like these supposed to be cast together with the slab monolithically? Or it must be done under 2 castings? Is preventing cement grout leakage one of the major reason we use kickers while casting columns/walls besides having proper alignment?
