In supply chain there are two terms , standard time and available time , what is the difference between them ? and what is the physical meaning of standard time in factory like pepsi for example ?
I saw a video that the 1D element is applied to rods or springs or any shape that has a uniaxial force acting on it , now I saw a problem of two trusses connected and at the connection point there are x and y forces and it is solved by 1D element also , So Does the 1D apply to uniaxial forces...
on a turbine data sheet , the maximum vibration amplitude at stabilized conditions is 34 micron , so I have a question does the vibration normally increase when we increase the load of turbine from 1 MW to maximum load 250 MW or it should be constant in all cases ? Also if the value of amplitude...
On a steam turbine , when we increase the load the vibration increase " the amplitude valve " more than the limit and causes alarm , but does this value is supposed to be constant with increasing load or it changes but with limits ? Also if we have an unbalance case does the amplitude is large...
The CV will respond as we gave it the set point at 98 MW so when bypass closes , the flow rate decreases to the bypass and increases in the way to CV so it responds to any change to maintain the constant load that we give to it which is 98 MW
Yes assume that the steam moving from boiler drum to the steam turbine pressure increases due to throttling the control valve so the back pressure on the drum increases , so what happens to the steam flow rate from the drum to the steam turbine ?
In a combined cycle power plant , the gas turbines load are constant and the hrsg produces certain steam flow rate and pressure from drum, if the steam turbine valves closed or the bypass or anything that increases the pressure so a back pressure occurs on the hrsg and drum so does the steam...
In the start up of a combined power plant we have 3 hrsg working each at 100 mw and we are on a position control mode with bypass open . The turbine control valve is set at 98 MW load and the bypass pressure set point is 70 bar . my question is if we change the pressure of set point to 80 bar (...
Thank you , There are 3 hrsgs from 4 working each produce 100 MW , the load on the steam turbine is 98 MW and the inlet pressure is 70 bar , the bypass is open in this case and we are on " position control mode " , but on the start up curve , the steam turbine's load of 98 mw requires a pressure...
Hey all , I review a start up curve for a real steam turbine and it gives pressure vs load , what I understand is at a certain load , there must be a certain pressure at the inlet of the turbine , but what about the flow rate is there must be a certain flow rate at each load ?
