The actual geometry is even more complex, and I sometimes get a message when I convert to sheet metal: The body did not fully convert. The body has: -non-uniform material thickness, -has geometry that could not be converted. These areas will be defined as non-sheet metal areas.

Very odd, but I notice that when trying to split a hole table in NX 11 the option shows up under Settings>Common>Maximum Height, under which you enter the maximum height in inches/mm of what your want each piece of your table to be. HOWEVER, this Settings>Common>Maximum Height is ONLY available...
