Hello,
I have a problem in wich i want to input a heat load on each node at contact. This heat must be proportional to the contact pressure (or nodal contact force). I did this with a *do loop, in wich I did fsum on each contact node and put a heat load on this node proportional to de fsum...
Hello,
In my program I want to get the contact forces of each node. Currently im doing this with a *do loop and fsum for each node. This is slowing down the simulation because i have many contact nodes and a lot of time steps. Is there a way i can get this nodal contact forces without going one...
Hello,
Im trying to make a transient simulation in wich I introduce a heatflux proportional to the reactionforces in each node.
How can i get the reactin forces of each node manipulate them and input it as a new heatflux in each node? thanks !

Im trying to model 3 axisymmetric discs one above the other. The one in the middle is rotating and the other 2 discs are stationary. A pressure of 1 MPa is compressing the discs and the middle disc is rotating with an w=500 rpm. If my objective is to simulate the transient heating of the discs...
Thanks Erik, but I think that this link explains how to change a contact properties (thermal conductivity)as fuction of pressure, but i want to introduce a heat flux load in the interface. Is that possible?
Hi im trying to simulate in an axysimmetric model 2 discs sliding and heating due to friction. I cant find a way to introduce de heat proportional to the contact pressure. Thanks!
Hi, in my problem y have 2 bodies contacting. I want to apply a heat flux in the contact surface proportional to the contact pressure of each node. Is this possible?
Hi, im working in with Ansys mechanical. I have 2 axysimmetric disks that in real life are sliding and producing frictional heat. I know how to introduce frictional heat in 2 sliding bodies, but in an axysimetric problem i cant asign a sliding speed so there is heat generated. Please someone...
Hi,I want to know if there is any way in Ansys Mechanical to introduce a load that is calculated from a result of the previous time step. For example, a force depending on the deformation of each node.
Hi, Im trying to do a transient simuation of a disk brake with the structural and thermal properties working together in Ansys Mechanical. I want to introduce a heat flux proportional to the pressure in each node. I would like to know if there is any way to do this. Thanks.
