    IMC

    I have a question on conduit. In the plant where I work we have lots of Rigid (RMC) and EMT of different sizes. I see in books IMC. I'm wondering when or where is IMC used ? Is it a protection issue or a expence issue ? Does IMC use threadless fittings like EMT ? Thanks

    I understand that nominal voltage means that it can vary depending on system, supply source etc. My question is why is there such a variation in THE stated nominal voltage ? In other words, why does one appliance say 110 volts and another reference say 115, and another say 120 in another thread...

    I see many threads on brushes, but maybe this it to easy. How do you check the voltage drop across a brush on an AC Alternator ? I see this mentioned on checking the condition of brushes, but I am missing something. Thanks
