I would like to know if there is some analytical relation/ formula which I can use to define face pressure of microtunneling in rock soil.
I know that the total force is characterized by the sum of a component related to total lateral friction and an other one connected to face...
Maybe I expressed myself in the wrong way. I want to know if there is a Standard, or
recognized and authoritative method, I can use to calculate the force applied to the pipe during the jacking operation (i.e : face resistance and lateral frictional resistance)
