Just curious, has anyone had experience creating panelboard and/or cable and conduit schedules in an MS ACCESS table? Once these schedules have to link to each other for shared information (like cables in a conduit), it seems MS ACCESS would handle those links MUCH better than EXCEL.
Just curious if anyone knows why California prefers ungrounded delta for most of their 15kV class distribution, while much of the rest of the country is grounded wye system. Probably simply because "they always did it that way", or did California specifically change to ungrounded delta at some...
Is there any risk to using a step up transformer that has a capacity about 10 times larger than the capacity of the generator? (i.e. a generator that is rated for 10MVA with a step up transformer of 100MVA as an example).
