Voltage Sensors: 5V or 30V power supply .

Hi All, I've been designing some test setups with voltage sensors and I found that many potentiometers and accelerometer can take a range of voltage supplies (5V to 30V). I'm curious as to if there is a significant benefit to using a high voltage supply (30V) or low voltage supply (5V)? So far...

Air regulator needed for shop air?

Hi all, I am setting up a pneumatic actuator system for the first time and there's shop air that I would like to pull from. It seems like shop air is typically 125psi +, but my actuators can only take 100psi max. Am I good to just slap an air pressure regulator and run my system? Thanks

YS/ UTS temperature correction factor database

Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anybody who regularly works with materials at elevated temperatures (100°C - 300°C) know of any library for temperature correction/derating factors for materials such as aluminum, different grades of steel, bronze, copper etc.? I am looking to correct the yield...
