base metal thickness
The weld procedure says "Base metal thickness range " 5/8" to 1.5" ". Using this procedure can I weld the 18" std flange on to the 18" pipe as per attached sketch? The flange thickness is 56mm. FABRICATION OF A FITTING (WITH CRN)
We are fabricating a small fitting with CRN number under ASME SECTION VIII. I have never worked with ASME SECTION VIII and I was wondering that is there any requirement of getting the fabrication or testing witnessed by an ABSA/ASME inspector?- R3M0
