In the test report it states “ Normalizing Rolling for below & Including 40 mm Thk Plate” it also mentions “Furnace Normalized for above 40 mm Thk Plate
Supply Condition: Furnace Normalized at 900 ± 20°C, cycle time minimum: 1.4 minutes per mm thickness + 10 minutes”
So it’s not normalized but...

“MT” is not marked anywhere on the plate. 2013 SECTION II, PART A in SA-516/SA-516M Para 5 it states that “ Plates 1.50 in. [40 mm] and under in thickness are normally supplied in the as-rolled condition.” could this be the reason?

We have purchased an SA516-70 plate. I am a little bit concerned because heat treatment condition is not marked on the plate, should this raise any issues? Or is it okay?
