Hello, how does Adams Machinery calculate transition velocity parameter for toothed belt simulation and what is the unit, mm/sec? The initial setting "100" is confusing to me. Maybe it should be around "0.1"?
If SFORCE formula is the same as force from the selection menu button and I apply it, the green box still makes a move

I mean the preload effect when you tensioning the belt and turn the screw (push the green box for example 100N and fix it), as below video

I mean the preload function force "Fw" which stretches the belt, for example push 100N and not come back like the green block on the move below. I checked the "SFORCE" documentation but I don't understand how to use this function for this example.

Hello everyone again :) I need help with two things [ponder]
1) Which function I can simulate the preload force "Fw" as in the figure below?
2)This is what the normal simulation of a gear belt looks like? I mean these oscillations marked with a blue arrow, I used the dimensions of the...
I misunderstood this function. [banghead]
Yesssssss, it's work! [rofl2]
Thanks You for Your HELP! [thanks]

IF( VX(CHECK_MARKER_1, CHECK_MARKER_2) : 0 , 0 , AKISPL(DM(CHECK_MARKER_1, CHECK_MARKER_2), 0, SPLINE_1, 0) )

I wanted to do it like in this example, insert DM (..., ...) instead of VR (..., ...) and then eliminate the force between the new markers added, in the unwanted range of that force
IF( DM(checkmarker1, checkmarker2) : 0 , 0 , AKISPL(DM(MARKER_18, MARKER_19),0, SPLINE_1,0)) or similar...
Hi, anyone know an idea how to limit this force function that it only works when the the slider is on the way back, in this mechanism?
I tried to use the "IF" function but I couldn't find a solution...
Maybe is some other way to implement this type of force?

Hi everyone [smile]
Function Builder.
How to write a function to control the force acting on the moving body by position (desired length), not use time?
