Hello GregLocock!
Thanks for your patience!
My idea of verifying the rigid-flexible coupling model (including flex biw) is as follows:
(1)use the flex body to replace the rigid chassis part, set up the speed and road profile, and output the curves of the accelerations(The solid red line in the...
Thanks for your reply!
Please ignore the unit (mm/sec**2). Here the unit of the acceleration is g. As you said, the difference of longitudinal acceleration in time is due to different speed. Therefore, from the peak value, the output curve of the longitudinal acceleration is successful...
Hi, guys!
I am studying the influence of the bending and torsional stiffness of BIW on the handling. The process is as follows:
(1) Obtain the mnf file of the BIW by HyperMesh (CMS);
At this stage, to simplify the model, I removed the seats, doors and interior. In order not to change the...
Hi,Guys!
In FE model, I use the 0d element "CONM2" to ensure that the center of mass and inertia of the model do not change and use the 1d element "RBE3" to connect "CONM2" to the rest of the model. After it, I will use HyperMesh to output the mnf file, which is used for rigid-flexible coupled...
I have solved this problem. It is the API command called "Recalculate" to realize the "Apply" function. By it, I build desired curves successfully. The core code is as follows:
set t [clock click];
set pch_filename "E:/CalculateDynamicStiffness/subframe_front_E90000.pch";
hwi OpenStack;
hwi...
Hi, guys!
I want to build multiple curves automatically in HyperGraph through secondary development. But I find that the API command "pltIBuildPlotsCtrl GenerationPlots" doesn't seem to be able to generate curves. Please help find the reason. The core codes are as follows:

Firstly, thanks for your replies!
After I swicthed the power steering assist off, the output curves were terrible and it took about three and a half hours to run the whole simulation. It is not the right way.
However, I found that if the quasi-static straight-line setup check box is checked, the...
Hi,@GregLocock!
Thanks for your reply again!
Maybe the description of this problem is not accurate enough. I organized some output curves into the file below.
It will be appreciated for any...
Hi,@GregLocock
Thanks for your reply!
In Adams/Car, I have made the flex chassis rigid through the function key "Make Rigid". After I did these, the output curves of the swep_sine steer is successful. Only when the chassis is a flexible part, the output curve fluctuates greatly.
Hello guys!
I built a rigid-flexible coupled vehicle model for handling and stability simulation. The flex part is the chassis(or the body).I carried out the following four simulation conditions for full-vehicle analyis:
(1)step steer;
(2)constant radius cornering;
(3)swept_sine steer for...
Hi, Guys!
I am using adams/car to do the simulation of vehicle handling and stability. Firstly, I obtained the mnf file of BIW through HyperMesh. Secondly, I built a rigid multi-body dynamic model to output the reference curves. Thirdly, I deleted the rigid body part that characterizes BIW and...
