I have severally implemented such application where two motors and VFDs are driving a single load. The challenge is to have equal load sharing by both the drives and this is not easy to achieve and no manual explains this how to do.
For running two motors in parallel is technically possible but not a good idea. The reason is that the VFD's built-in protection features will not work. It's better and cheaper to use two 0.75kW VFDs.
