You have to only constrain the first instance with the first base feature (in this case Pad 1)
then use reuse pattern, check the assembly I have uploaded....

Is there any way to modify the orientation of selected instance in assembly which are created using he reuse pattern option in Catia V5?
Example: In the picture, center of the instance and Z height will be same for all instances but need flexibility in orientation angle...
