Hi Greg, thank you for your reply. I think you are talking about the response setup. I will have to create the design variable first. Then, I can define the response I want to minimize to be the mass or compliance matrix and the constriant factor is stress.
I am new to hyperwork and trying to use hyperbeam to study the optimized shape of a I-beam. I have created the beam using hyperbeam but don't know how to associate the dimensions/parameters of the I-beam to my design variables. Any help is appreciated...
