Hey all, could I get some recommended design projects and textbooks to learn how to build my own microcomputers? I've read the "Digital Logic and Microcomputer Design" textbook already for a course in uni but I want to go more in depth.
Hey, finally have some time to spend on this project again. Thanks for the feedback. The freestudy helped a lot, I was struggling to understand how the driven pulley has the same power as the driving pulley. From what I am understanding now it's due to the tension on the driven pulley being...
Hey all, might be a dumb question but is the input pulley's angular speed different than the motor shaft driving it? It wouldn't be right, the radial velocity would be different but not the angular velocity right? In the Figure below the driving pulley is driven by a motor.
I need to find a change in the clamping force due to vibrations that will occur during transportation and when loaded. Something similar to this paper: On the Anti-Loosening Characteristics of M16 Threaded
Fasteners under Vibratory Conditions
Hey all,
I'm currently facing a problem on one of my roll forming machines, the issue occurs when the machine gets jammed the extension shaft that is assembled with a drive shaft using set screws experiences torsional shear stress and deforms, the extension shaft then becomes a pain to replace...
I am thinking of applying a cycle of steady-state vibrations (i.e. apply steady-state vibration n amount of times and see the affect it has on the clamping force). The c-channel beams are used for warehouse racking, the nut-bolt assemble 2 safety bars perpendicular to the c-channel, so there are...
Hey,
I am trying to run a simulation for a nut-bolt assembly. The nut and bolt are connected to a c-channel beam, I want to run a vibration simulation to find out the clamping force between the nut and bolt after a certain number of vibrations/oscillations. Can anyone give me any tips for how...
