    Production of 700 C Steam

I'm pretty sure Babcock has to have representatives here, both in Rotterdam and Antwerp. I will investigate this and I would also check if other alternatives not involving steam (for instance, use of thermal oil) can be practical for the application my colleagues are thinking. BR, AD

    Production of 700 C Steam

Around 2 bar.g For such low pressures, I saw that there are some systems able to produce steam at such temperature, but the problem is they are electrically driven. I am trying to find some technology driven directly by heat produced by fuel and residual heat in our process.

    Grinding pumps for Mg slurries

Thanks everyone for your preliminary feedback. I will try to get some further information, in particular the particle size distribution and the target size, but for that I need further clarification from my Process colleagues. But basically the idea is to both pump and grind with the same...

    Grinding pumps for Mg slurries

Dear all, For an application in a recovery plant, I am interested in seeing if there is any option in the market for pumping liquids which would have a significant amount -and sorry for not being able to be more precise at this stage- of big particles, even stones, on it. We are speaking of a...

Methods/machines for dry cleaning a brick lined furnace

I don't think the steam option would be feasible, because it would imply a huge modification in our current installation, and also I believe the managment are not so keen on using steam unless strictly necessary, as it's not produced but bought from the outside. Thanks for the suggestion, in...

Methods/machines for dry cleaning a brick lined furnace

Concerning the availability of steam, yes, we have steam available in the plant but using it for cleaning will create condensation -I assume- and we wish to avoid it. Thanks, AD

Methods/machines for dry cleaning a brick lined furnace

Thanks to everyone involved in the replies. Indeed one of the requisites that we have for the cleaning operation is no person can go inside the furnace because it will be still at a relatively high temperature (around 100 C), so that's the reason for specifying this job to be done with a...
