I'm analyzing an existing mezzanine (built 2018) and have run into the issue that the steel is all in euro shapes. I understand that their grading system is different from ours, but I haven't been able to find their equivalent standard...
I've got a fan pushing air at 40mph at a vertical plate. Wondering what the best way to calculate that load is. Current method is using ASCE7 wind load formula with Kd & G as 1.0. Is this the best method or is there another I'm unaware of?
